Assistant Teacher: Kid's Club (3-8)

Description

This position is an opportunity to assist our Lead Kid Klub teacher during a one-hour class, twice a week, with kids 3 - 8 years old staying in our Family Shelter. Kids Klub assistants may help multiple times a month or once a month. 

At this time, classes are every Wednesday 6-7 pm. 

We hope to expand classes to Monday-Thursday as we get more volunteers. 

Duties may include:

  • Engaging kids in organized activities that provide opportunities for positive relationship building and role modeling.  
  • Assisting the Lead teacher with planned curriculum activities.
  • Assisting the Lead teacher in teaching about Jesus.
