Mission Thrift opened its doors in the summer of 2019 and took off running! Centrally located on 20th & Lincoln, this store has become a local hot spot for both shopping and donating. With a large selection of name brand clothing, beautiful home decor, books, electronics, furniture and housewares, there's something for everyone!
But there’s more… Everything that is donated and sold at a YUGM store helps us with our singular mission of bringing people from HOMELESSNESS TO WHOLENESS! By shopping and volunteering with us, you are literally changing people’s lives by supporting and funding the incredible work and programs at the Yakima Union Gospel Mission! So while you are curating great things and donating your time, you are also GIVING great things to those in need right here in our valley!
We invite YOU to become a part of the team that brings people from homelessness to wholeness!
Tasks could include:
- Tagging or hanging clothing
- Testing electronics
- Cleaning donations
- Assisting with books
- Organizing recyclable items
- Parking lot clean-up,
- Helping find TREASURES!
This opportunity is not eligible for court ordered community service.
