We need a volunteer with love for Jesus and His children to help lead Kids Klub in the Family Shelter. Kids Klub is a fun and safe place for kids to learn and play while their parents are away. At this time, classes are every Wednesday from 6-7 pm. We hope to expand classes to Monday-Thursday as we get more volunteers. Kids Klub leaders will work with staff and other volunteers to develop a schedule that works for everyone. Leaders may lead multiple times a month or once a month.
A volunteer in this role should have some experience teaching, developing lesson plans, and classroom management.
Responsibilities:
- Leading Kids Klub Class for ages 3 -8.
- Developing weekly lesson plans and activities.
- Training volunteer assistants who will help during class.
- Maintain a clean and organized space learning space.
