Introducing our newest Thrift venture - Program Thrift! One exciting way that our thrift stores get to support our clients and those in need in our community is through providing them with clothing and other household items. To this end, we have created a new space on our main campus for easy access to these items. We have organized the space to resemble a mini thrift store in order to be a dignifying experience for anyone who comes in as they are able to "shop" for what they need and pick items out. Clothing and other items are sent down from the stores weekly and are stocked in this new space throughout the week.
Program Thrift is a great way for you to serve our clients hands-on by helping us to stock and organize all the items we have coming in.
We invite YOU to become a part of the team that brings people from homelessness to wholeness!
Tasks could include:
- Hanging clothing
- Stocking items
- Dusting/cleaning
- Pulling requested items
- Helping clients/Program staff find needed items
- Pulling clothing for GNC Thrift & sending it over
This opportunity is not eligible for court ordered community service.
