Summit Thrift Retail Volunteer: PM Shift

YUGM opened its largest Thrift store in June 2021 in the old Rite Aid location on 56th and Summitview, next to Safeway. Since opening, this store has become a bustling donation and shopping location that supplies our partners and community with everyday needs and one-of-a-kind goods. Open seven days a week, there are many opportunities to join the exciting team at Summit Thrift!

But there’s more…Everything that is donated and sold at a YUGM store helps us with our singular mission of bringing people from HOMELESSNESS TO WHOLENESS! By shopping and volunteering with us, you are literally changing people’s lives by supporting and funding the incredible work and programs at the Yakima Union Gospel Mission! So while you are getting great things and donating your time, you are also GIVING great things to those in need right here in our valley!

We invite YOU to become a part of the team that brings people from homelessness to wholeness!

Tasks could include: 

• Stocking product
• Decorating/Merchandizing 
• Cleaning
• Organization
• Project assistance
• Other tasks as assigned

This opportunity is not eligible for court ordered community service.
