Come have fun and share the love of Jesus! This position is an opportunity to assist our Lead MidKids' teacher during a one-hour class, once a week, with kids 9 - 13 years old staying in our Family Shelter. MidKids' assistants may help multiple times a month or once a month.
At this time, classes are every Wednesday @ 6-7 pm.
We hope to expand classes to Monday-Thursday as we get more volunteers.
Duties may include:
- Engaging kids in organized activities that provide opportunities for positive relationship building and role modeling.
- Assisting the Lead teacher with planned curriculum activities.
- Assisting the Lead teacher in teaching about Jesus.
- Recruiting more volunteers to help during class.
